My research team and I are conducting a research study about adult children’s experiences with parental divorce.
Our study focuses on the experiences of adults who have gone through parental divorce in adulthood. More specifically, we are interested in how adult children communicate with their parents during divorce.
We are inviting men and women who: (a) are 18 years of age or older, (b) were 18 years of age or older when their parents divorced, and (c) were living on their own at the time of their parent’s divorce to participate in an interview with a member of our research team. Interviews will last approximately 60 -90 minutes.
During this initial phase of data collection, interviews will primarily take place on the UW-Stevens Point campus, but if that is not convenient a research team member can meet you at a private location within the Stevens Point/Plover area or surrounding areas (e.g., Wausau, Wisconsin Rapids).
Participation is completely voluntary and all responses will be kept confidential. In appreciation of your participation, you will receive $20.00.
